Boledi Raeesa Hassim is a brilliant young woman with a vision, at the helm of Boledi Tourism and Travel. Her rural upbringing from GaMothapo, a village just a short distance from the University of Limpopo has propelled her for greater heights in life. The towering academic halls and residences keep a constant eye on the villages and surrounds as if to make everyone feel guilty of indolence and slag.

In 2008, Boledi Tourism and Travel started from a humble story of ingenuity as a home business exploring the travel industry. The business, then in Jasmyn Street, Florapark, created a network of happy customers who were met with a disarming smile from Boledi. Her warmth, soft voice and tone restore you confidence, and trust. Most of the clients booked holidays from accommodation found in the city, and outside. It is here where Boledi developed her love for providing service for people who do not have the time to run around. The demand for people needing support, and service grew, and this made Boledi realise there is a market niche that needs to be serviced. Clients always asked why I could not provide them with a travelling experience inclusive of flights and care hire in addition to the accommodation I supplied. Here the roots of a tourism and travel business germinated.

As a young girl, Boledi defied restrictions that would relegate her to the mother's kitchen. She ventured out, challenged boys at their game, and explored the dense rocky hills GaMothapo. This simple gesture has sown the seeds of a courageous business woman who battled against all odds to be where she is. Boledi draws her inspiration from stories of women who worked themselves through in the male dominated world of business and science.

Boledi's qualifications in Travel and Tourism, Marketing, and Finance position her as one of the youngest women running an emerging Travel Business in town. She exudes energy, determination and enthusiasm. Boledi has acquired the franchise of the South African Travel Centre. The SATC is particularly proud of the fact that Boledi Travel Center enjoys 100% Black ownership and management bringing further BBBEE credentials to the SATC consortium. Boledi's business acumen combined with her commitment to her clients has contributed greatly to her success so far. Under Boledi's hands-on management, Boledi Travel Centre has successfully secured corporate and private business in Limpopo. She is determined to grow her business into a global competitive agency that sets the pace for other tourism and travel businesses.
